HECPS INtroductory Unit

February 9
Before we get to the main part of the day, we have been asked to show a quick video from our IB programs.  This is primarily for our sophomores in class.  If there are any questions, I will take them, share them with those who can answer them, and then relay any answers we get back.
The remainder of today's time should have you making sure you have completed our two assignments.  The most recent is the momento mori assignment from last class.  Once you have this completed, place it in our in-box.  Our first assignment was the professional e-mail from February 3/4.  Make sure you send your e-mail to me.
If you have completed both of the above assignments, you can use the time to work on any assignments from other classes.

February 5/6
We will start with a Quick Write activity.
We will then take a look at the phrase momento mori.  From there, you will take time to work through some questions associated with the concept of momento mori.

February 3/4
We'll start the day with some Quick Thought Questions.  This will being with you answering some questions and then leading to a class discussion.
We will then move on to some notes on e-mail etiquette.  The notes will end with an e-mail assignment.  You will be given time to work on this assignment (with the hope that you can complete and send it today).

February 2
We will spend our time today getting introduced to what you can expect in this class over the semester.  This includes some introductory slides to help you understand why you are taking the class.
If you are interested in looking at the class syllabus, you can head to SYLLABI in the banner at the top of this page.  If you prefer, you can also head there directly be clicking on this link.
